Your Suffering
The Value of Suffering is a project designed to help sufferers in their suffering. Rather than attempting to escape suffering that is often inescapable, our goal is to help you view, react to, and walk through it differently.

Suffering doesn’t have to be the way you’ve experienced it.
If you’ve felt hopeless to find hope in your suffering, you’re in the right place. If you’ve despaired to know what to do for loved ones in their despair, we’re so glad you’re here. If you’ve wondered where community love and support is in the midst of suffering, welcome to the growing community who understands the need to not suffer alone.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I believe there is a lot to learn from sitting in the moment of a situation that is not going the way we want it to… I am both intrigued and impressed with this information. I appreciate being on the mailing list to learn more about this topic and look forward to seeing your next newsletter.

I am thankful for your explanation of sloth and the exhortation to step into the demands of love. The explanation you provided exposed several areas of my life where I suppress the care I feel for our current suffering and my neighbor and suppress it using worthless things like food or television. I am thankful for how the Lord is using your work to impact people's lives (including mine and my wife's) and help them re-engage this critical aspect of true life in Christ.

Thank you so much, Heidi! Seeing suffering for what it is in multiple areas of life (not just physical or medical things, which is what I used to think) has changed my mentality and heart so much. We're so grateful for you,
Elise J.

We are all weak at times. Must we be victims of our weakness and merely wait for it to pass? Or are there ways of gaining strength through our weakness?
